It is clear that this contest cannot be decided by our knowledge of the force.... But....

Wow look how asymmetrical that knuckle joint is. I wonder if it was originally supposed to rotate?

Vi dication...finally! I started one back when aotc came out and did the grooves uneven as they were and it was basically rejected as 'no one aill want that, theyll think the shop messed up' or something to that effect :)

Do you know what they used for the rubber?
I don’t know what… it was. It was very thin, maybe 1mm, floppy, and had a very fine checkered pattern on it. The bumps were proud of the surface, back was completely flat. I was actually surprised at how floppy it was in person lol maybe this makes it easier to glue onto a curved surface.

Thank you very much for your answer I'm just curious were the sheets large or tiny? I've seen this rubber on alot of general products from bike grips to drills but my brother had posted a simple meme that contained a lighter with the rubber and got my hunt started on butane torches there a few models that use this diamond rubber but what caught my eye is mainly the rubber details having some holes on the points (might be from the mold process) on one particular butane torch that's commonly sold and rebranded (GB - 2001), these "holes" are present they seem inconsistent aswell like the props. My mind is wondering weather the production ones you provided Dan are big sheets or sort of on the scale of a butane torch or bike grips, I think it could be a dead end but the model number having 2001 on it gave me extra hope but it's resold under so many names I'm just assuming production used this or sourced larger sheets but for a quick job like production is akin to I have confidence in butane torch but then again there's bike grips etc but the "holes" in some of the diamons don't seem to be present. (I have one currently on the way to see about attaching to my Mr Tyranus by Wattos and SPsabers as I believe the diamonds to be abit stretched on the current rubber)

I am by no means a expert at all about scaling etc I've just fried my brain staring at rubber there's some other models that use the same rubber but with some gaps ibetween diamons etc but please someone can correct me if their a dead end etc to what production may have used but I find it a good way to upgrade my current grips but again the thickness could be off etc

Deepest apologies to Dan to derail this in anyway. I am way too excited to see your Dooku come to fruition!

I was lucky enough to hang with starkiller Sunday, while at his house he showed me his cad work for this run.

Guys.. just wait until you see this prototype… the detail, and all the inaccuracies he’s copied.. it’s mind blowing
I hope you mean intricacies, not inaccuracies. Plenty of those on other replicas. Or should I say, idealizations perhaps.
