Ever since I noticed the banners at the top of the forum pages it seems to take a long time for the RPF to load for me...lotta lag time.

I have had the same thing happen to me from time to time. If any of the banner web sites are running slowly, the RPF page will lag until it can display the banner graphic.

That is the reason I don't hot-link any of the banners on my web sites. I download the banner graphics so that the pages will not be held hostage by the speed of another server. The down side is that it's more work because you have to manually update the banners.
