Is it Halloween yet? A big skull and bones theme park booth...

Hey all,

Just wanted to post up a few pics of a new sculpt that we've added to our website. As with a lot of our foam work, Richard Riley tackled this one and really knocked it out of the park. The client (Six Flags Over Georgia) had a 4' round sign and a basic concept of a skull as a table with the sign overhead. We tweaked the design a bit, changing out for the jaw-less skull for a little cleaner look... then Rich had the idea of the bones-as-uprights and it all came together!

It was a quick turnaround, as we needed to have it ready in time for this year's FRIGHT FEST.

BTW - they plan to use this to hand "Ghoul B Gone" rings out to younger visitors... if a creep comes up to them at Fright Fest, the kids can use the ring to scare them off! Really fun concept!

I've attached a few pics below of the finished piece, as well as some concept art and shots of the foam sculpt in progress.

You can find pics of all sorts of other sculpture at our site's Custom Sculpture and Theming page.

Hope you like :)

best,
Tom

Hey... It's ALWAYS that time of year (especially at the RPF!) :)

Thanks for the kind words guys. Rich was just saying how much fun this one was to build!

Looks great Tom & Rich! You guys are masters at your craft. Someday I'll need you guys to build me a base for my Michael Myers figure. ;)

This project was a BLAST to make :) It presented it's own set of challeneges but was a lot of fun to create!
