Thats the problem, they don't make very many acyrlic guitars to begin with, at least, not the style I'm looking for. There are some on Ebay right now for what I would consider quite a steal, but again, not in the same style.
Making a guitar body from acrylic wouldn't be hard at all IMO. It the chambers for the liquid that would be the problem. Especialy if it were machined from a solid block.
Perhaps if could be constructed from a few peices? Like a fish tank? Make 4 sides and a top and back and a few other shapes for this and that. That would be much cheaper would it not?
I guess I should ask how much a 2x14x20 inch block of acrylic runs in the first place. :confused
