Is anybody interested in a "business" partnership...?

Re: Is anybody interested in a "buisness" partnership...?

Hi Ramiel.

Just been looking through your portfolio. I'm in awe. Makes my graphics work look like I do it with 2" crayons...

Are you a fan of Rian Hughes at all?

Mark :cool

Re: Is anybody interested in a "buisness" partnership...?

If we are still discussing steampunk, then I'd like top make a contribution (well not exactly steampunk but it fits in with the genre and overall look I think). Since the pictures are a bit large, I will only post one teaser pic and you can visit my website if you want to see the rest.

Again, let me appoligize for the picture size.

Re: Is anybody interested in a "buisness" partnership...?

here's a quick question for Jmtwo

what would it take to get a kit of the Tardis done at about 16" or 18" height?
I know I could build one from sheet styrene, but right now time is the one thing I lack...
just curious if you ever thought about offering one

Good idea!!

I'm pretty sure there must be plans around somewhere. If someone could point me in the right direction I could check it out. This would be a real good project to laser out.

Or I could just Google. Duh!!

Found 'em. Looks simple enough. Now is anyone else interested? Say 1/6th scale?

Re: Is anybody interested in a "buisness" partnership...?

You already know that I'm here if you need help with the "pre-production"...;)

Re: Is anybody interested in a "buisness" partnership...?

you could get actual movement on the scarab, my best guess would be to find a jewler for advice or someone who does custom jewlery.
Great :)

The comic was a Indiana Jones/Mummy style story, an adventure comic set in the 20's...
Here is one of the pages of the prologue...

A functional scarab could be really hard to do, because the wings are hidden into the body of the scarab, and they opens like a flick knife, turning the "knob" under the scarab, and the result should be something like this...

So, it's almost impossible in the real world... Maybe a removable pair of wings could work...

Re: Is anybody interested in a "buisness" partnership...?

If the wings were layered and hollow, the blades could retract into/extend from them. If there is a knob that turns on the base, it could extend the wings and also unspindle semi-rigid wires (think of the reverse of an aperture) to extend the blades.

Just a thought . . .

Hmmm... I like how it sounds...
Do you know someone who could help with the "tech" part of this project?
Also, do you think there will be enough room for a LED? (it's not needed, but will be soo cool!:lol)
I would love to have this scarab done... It is a very important thing for me...:$

BTW, thank you for your helpful comments;)

Re: Is anybody interested in a "buisness" partnership...?

Ok, this thread is not dead yet, so...
I've looked at the previous pages and I've found something nice made by Coz, and I've take the liberty to do an Illustration version of one of the most appreciated works he posted here earlier... The "Hub Gun" (I hope you don't mind Coz:) )
This is the low-res version, but let me know what you think anyway...

Cheers.

Well, If I wasnt totally shunned from this place i would offer services. I made a mistake--so forgive me.

I have a lot to offer

Re: Is anybody interested in a "buisness" partnership...?

Actually forgiveness is given, not earned. Trust is earned.

Love the design, I love your rendition of it, and I want a physical representation of one, or perhaps two :) Looks bad ass, great work!
