Is anybody interested in a "business" partnership...?

If you don't mind Ramiel, here is what I thought of when I saw the jacket.

RamielJacket001.jpg

I imagined the jacket would have two flaps in the front. The right flap (wearers right) would be slipped under the left flap and buttoned in place. These buttons would be on the inside of the jacket and invisible to sight. Then the left flap would be lain over the right flap and secured using the five leather straps/clasps. Armless, short collar, and not extending past the top of the belt. All the edges would have to have stitchings (drawn) to keep the material from unraveling (I'm thinking leather, but it's your jacket.). This could be trimmed instead, which would have the same function but more decorative.

This could come in several colors and fabrics. Indeed, the clasps could be exchanged for several designs. I drew them as arrow heads, 'cause that's what I saw in your original drawing.

(Heh, I just realized that this is probably taking this post off-topic. This is a costume, not a prop after all.)

Ah, I was way off then. I had imagined something like this:

(Forgive my hand writing. I think it looks sloppy, but I can read it.) :p

Congrats Ramiel. After nearly 5 years, you've managed to get me to draw again. (I used to be somewhat good.)

Anway, this is what I had imagined the pants to resemble. Oh, also in the top left corner is a rough drawing of the clasps. Based on the photo you've posted, I figured it looked like that. The rectangle is permanently attached to one side of the jacket, and a small flap of leather is pulled across to the other side of the jacket where there is a brass "arrow" shape that has a button-snap attached under neath. The jacket flap has the matching button snap. Does that make sense? I'm good at figuring things out in my head, but I have difficulty explaining things to other people.

You got the jacket perfectly right!:cool:thumbsup
And the pants aren't that different from what I imagined either!;)
And it's not "off-topic", costumes are welcome here as well!:D

P.S.
Glad I was able to make you draw again!:D
P.P.S.
The shirt, if you were wondering, is somewhat similar to the shirt worn by Johnny Depp in "Sweeney Todd"... A "classical" victorian shirt...;)

Hi Ramiel, the first day of the Mask build has been begun , Blocking as been done and a hard shell has been cast and I'm ready to start the detail work .
I'll have pics in the next few days.:cool

I's like to,but it seems that my opinion is only worth 2 cents Around here! Especially by a few of the senior members of this forum!:unsure Anyway,I love the Sweeny Todd razor, just the way it is! I don't suppose you'd want to make one out of sculpy, and sell it like this would you?

I'll match it up with a flight cap when I do the final edge work .........Still a ways to go.

Wow. The idea to use plastic cups for the master... I would've never thought of that! I would've been messing with pipes and heat guns for hours! Genius!

OK, I've been seeing this thread for like a year now and never looked at it. Damned if I'm wading through 76 pages. Anyone care to appease my idle curiosity and give me a summary?

Ramiel posts up awesome designs of fantasy weaponry & other sundry items, & sometimes projects come to fruition featuring said designs.
