Ironman Mark VII suit progress

Looking good! :thumbsup I see you've gotten a lot of progress done. (Lot more than me even)

Just a heads up: The flaps on the calf/shins are supposed to be flush with the sides of the leg. See here--> View attachment 213224
I know you're using the (somewhat) thicker EVA foam, so you could possibly carve a flap out of the leg. Or you can do whatever you'd like. It's your build. :D

Yeah I know, thanks for the info, and the pic, I could have made it that way. At first I wasn't going to make the flaps at all and just to keep it flush. But I had those pieces and figured I'd put them on anyway:)

Legs are finally coming together. Next is the boots. And then the tacky glue, plasti dip, and painting begins.

Nice idea with the boots. Curious to see the tread pattern, as well as whatever brand/model they are. Any prep to the boots before painting them?

I used metropolitan nu-life paint on them that's meant for vinyl, leather and plastics. Mainly to give it a red sole.

Currently applying the 12 layers of tacky glue/water mix to seal the foam of my suit. Will post pics when done this whole process. Then it will be time to add 3 layers of plasti dip spray.

Shiny sheen after 7 coats of tacky glue/water mix. 5 more coats to go for the arms, shoulders, hands, and feet. Then onto the rest.
