And decided to make up the old version for a friends bday.

Looking good! :thumbsup I see you've gotten a lot of progress done. (Lot more than me!)
Love what you did with the bionic repulsors; really impressive there.

Just a heads up: The flaps on the calf/shins are supposed to be flush with the sides of the leg. See here-->
I know you're using the (somewhat) thicker EVA foam, so you could possibly carve a flap out of the leg. Or you can do whatever you'd like. It's your build.
