ok guys so here we go!!!

finished resin the helmet i cutted the bottom part but is a bit small:cry
i've printed the file in letter but i have a4 on muy printer. from letter to a4 there is difference? i'm a bit lost here. i've measured the helmet and is not the same scale that is on pepakura!!!:confused:confused
any ideas??

ok guys this is my second attemp both helmets are from sharkhead the left one was too small :behaveso i made the hd with the correct scale next step resin & bondo

my helmet has the back still attached but I cut the jaw off..
might be an idea for you if your helm still doesn't fit.

the sanding looks good, details are the hardest part though good luck with that.

Are you thinking ahead for the molding or are you going to mold it as it is in the last set of pics? It looks awesome but needs some detail lines cut in. If you search the net for smooth-on they have video tutorials on their page and youtube is full of people making molds of different types of helmets, especially Halo.

Did you do the face plate and helmet separately or all as one piece then cut out the face plate?

i've cut the face plate after the resin coat then i work over the plate

Helmet is starting to take shape nicely. Two questions though, why not cut the bottom back section out? And why such deep grooves in the top?
