I got mime from Gemini several weeks ago and it is an awesome job !!
I didn't have the time yet to paint it but i can't wait to do it...

Above is the helmet done with CNC and made from the original CG files of the movie.
Below is mine.

Sorry for this stupid post, but it freaks me out to see that, without computer or sculpting skills, my helmet just looks like the original ONE! So HAPPY!

I think i'm gonna give this model a try after i finish pepping dungbettle's version 2 model. i've been looking for this model in a long time after my friend made a MKV model out of the templates that you have provided. anyways, splendid work my friend!:love

Yeah i might give it a shot. Ive never used that stuff before so it will be interesting to see how it turns out. Fibreglass process looks very interesting .

Sorry to haul this thread corpse back up to your doorstep, but I'd like to post the pic of my GK helmet, now painted and detailed as the MkV helmet. No there's no face division lines, and yes that means it's not 100% accurate. No I don't care that much. Just needs a clear coat to protect it all.

Ok guys, sorry to bring this up, but I have an announcement to make and it is somewhat related to this topic too:
