Iron Man movie costume at CTIA Wireless Tradeshow

Have anyonme noticed how soon and high up the ankle goes.
It reminds me of Darth Vader ep 3. Its also remind me of the superstars in variouse movies wehere the boots look to be correct from the outside but from the inside the have a high heel so they raised up 1-2 inches in hight.

Display at CTIA was on a raised platform about 8" high. I'm 6'1" and I estimate it was about 6' tall.

About the boots/ankle area (I hope BrianM has some good photos of that) but they definitely looked like they would add at least 1" height to the actor inside. I remember seeing a small plate at the front of the ankle that was clearly riveted on but didn't see how/if it moved. Hopefully, BrianM's photos will reveal more.

Those are great ! man where were images like this 5 months ago ! :rolleyes Would have saved a lot of guess work ! :lol Thanks huge for the pictures ! Some great shots thanks much ! :thumbsup

great pics. i saved every one of them.

Im going to give this suit a go i think.

question, why didnt you do a kamakazi run on the stage with your camera on rapid shot and run behind the suit so we all could have some back reference?lol

i know, some people are never satisfied.

great shots,

Such a gorgeous suit.

Has anybody noticed that the design has started bleeding into the Burger King commercials?
Weak sauce.

Just was looking again at all these pictures ( http://www.mixed-media.net/IM/ ) Great shots and thank you again by the way. Anyway neat to see that this suit has some significant damage on it. Good way to tell that it is screen used or at least was on set and not a static prop. if it was in pristine condition it would make me think it was just done up for promos and not likly to have been on set.

Just an observation, but cool to see when you lok close at the detail pictures.:thumbsup
