too much awesomeness, here!
How did you hinge your neck? It must open somehow. And did you use clips to connect chest and back?

Me too! This is an early pic, but I modded the file to make the upper spine separate, and added a fill piece in the neck's back. Then I cut a seam right up the center of the back under where the top of the spine section would go. I glued on the industrial velcro to both sides, and used the upper spine piece to cover the seam. The neck ends up looking seamless this way. I also incidentally did the same thing on the ab section, putting the seam straight up the back, and then having the spine stick on separately (magnets) to hide it. Got tired of those pesky ab side seamsThe only difficult part is if you've got to attach the spine covers yourself, it's an awkward reach. :lol

I'll be having a little tutorial soon on sealing/priming foam. . .to look as close to fiberglassed builds :lol not by using the acrylic emulsion, I only use that thing when doing fast-paced builds just like my other IM foam costumes and commission, although looks cool, I'm satisfied with the finish until I used Epoxy Primer last week on my Mark 7 helmet.
Usage of epoxy primer in foam costume building is mainstream here in the Philippines (I think), a popular costume maker here in the Philippines introduced to me this epoxy primer to seal/prime my foam costumes last May 2013, I never used this until last week when I decided to take it a shot. Surprised with the results, I decided to seal/prime my other unsealed pieces left.

All I need to do is to sand each piece using a 100 grit and 400 grit sand paper so smoothed them out. Yes, epoxy primer can be sanded when dried. And originally, this can be applied using a paint gun (air-compressor), but can also applied using brush.
The thing is. . .it cracks unnoticeable overtime.
Gonna get back working on this sometime next week since I'm on the painting stage of the Iron-Patriot commissioned suit now. Thanks for viewing.
