Not tricks man. I usually add the chrome panels for the suit even before, on the first version. And no need to worry, yours will come with these too!

i am new to buliding anything and i need help. did u use pepakura files to make the suit?
and if u did can u plaese tell me where u got them

Anyway I'm completely amazed on how I got the wingflaps correct this time around.

Couple of updates. Just a few weeks before the movie. I managed to have the back motorized and reactor fixed. Now all that needs fixing is the helmet. Motors are waiting to be installed. :lol

Here's some pictures for 'ya. And if anyone asks, the stuff that reflects out of the grey primer is flooring glue. I use it to seal those pinholes. Can be sanded once fully dried [24-48 hrs]. All that needs to be done is paint! opcorn

I think I like the inner knee hinge detail youre going to do. I cant tell fully but it looks interesting so far.

I was gonna ask about the shiny seal you got on there. wasnt sure what that was, ha!

what's the paint name for the gold like color? also are you using paint for the chrome color or something completely different? i was thinking of using silver metal plates easy to cut into to place in where it needs to be.

Sorry for the late reply. That is gold is a custom mixed acrylic paint sprayed thru an air compressor.

Thank you! Just an ordinary ink pen, with a sharp edge.

Been busy with movie promotions. Whew. Just managed some time to upload pics and update this thread. Anyway suit is done. Helmet is not that good [for me at least]. And I'm still waiting for the biggeek helmet I ordered. Here are some pics for the promotions I was invited to. Oh yeah and the motorized flaps is a success








The gold I used vary depending on the flash and lighting used by cameras. But all in all looks great. I'll try to get more pictures once I get hold of them. In the meantime do enjoy. And thank you for checking my thread out! :lol
