so guys shoulders are painted !! at this point my biggest thx goes to Mark aka fingaz for teaching me in painting thank you mark !!!!
it needs now to drying after this i wehre adding some effect and adapt the shoulders to the back , i hope you like it guys !!

your work is realy inspiring. I'm a newbie with pepakura and the whole costume building stuff but i hope that i will (one a day far far away) come to build something on your level.

Damn .... David, this build just keeps getting better and better. Truly amazing work and the paint job looks awesome!

I would have to agree with sgtski though. At least in the pictures of the back on the lower parts of the recessed areas (the rest of the suit seams to not have as much grime). The grime stands out more on the gold parts than on the deep red color. It does look like there is a lot of grime on these parts of the suit compared to the amount of wear-n-tear. It looks like it is nearly a brand new suit that Tony flew through a garbage dump and picked up a bunch of grime.

I think the suits I have seen that look like they have been through a battle have more wear-n-tear (paint chips, gloss dulled down a little, scratches, a thin coat of dirt-n-dust over the whole suit, etc) and a little less grime. I think that the grime should look like gun powder residue, heavy oil and dark smoke, etc.

That is just my two cents. Take it or leave it but I have given some thought into how I want my suit to be painted after I build it and I have looked at a lot of custom Iron Man suits.

David, your suit is coming out so good I am very envious!

Hey man, I am not knocking it! You did a great job... probably better than what I could do myself. I am just offering a little constructive criticism. I am pretty sure you understand this, I just wanted type it out here on the site. Keep up the good work bro, I look forward to seeing some more progress on your suit and I love seeing this thing taking shape and coming together.

He is making a Mark IV from Iron Man 2. If he does the triangular chest then he will have a Mark IV and a Mark VI. All the other parts are pretty much the same except for a slightly different paint scheme. The Mark VI is the suit at the end of Iron Man 2 and the beginning of The Avengers.

Yes hofnarr mike has right its from iron man 2 the mark4 i wehre starting next time the mark 7 but after this project i need first comming down and find new power for this is little bit to hard for me this all
i have today finaly finished the right bizeps there was only cleaning work , other i have no time was to bussy with molding and casting of the other parts here it is :
