Iron Man Costume from Puerto Rico 100% complete see photos page 11 (pepakura)

Did you use the 'brace pep' with this build? I'm attempting to build one for display, and was wondering if its needed?

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING !!! You can be very proud! This is a masterpiece!
Thanks, for my first Ironman yes i'm very proud.

wow very nice one of the best by far
thanks it means a lot to me, by summer time i will make molds of this suit to make it 100% wearable as acurate like the real IM of the movie (no the cgi)(right now it is like 75% wearable)

What is brace pep? I use diferences pep files from diferents menbers (Dancin fools are ones of the best), most of them i play with the scale factor, they are good files but not perfect you have to do the rest the best you can.:thumbsup

When i said perfect i mean accuracy in generally, no ones here have the perfect suit at least you have the original molds. Good luck with your project.

I think he meant the supports that came with the pep files to keep everything in place while hardening them. The answer is yes. You definitely need them IMO. I actually added more to mine before I resined it. If not, chances are you will have alot of warped parts, then it's back to the beginning for ya.

And Maulfett, I can't wait to see the casts from your molds. Should be quite a treat!

Actually, i think he's referring to the brace that is for the mk 4/6 peps by robo. In which case, no since this is the mk 3 modeled by Dancin Fool.

But like Vshore said, bracing the peps for resining is a good idea :)

Sorry I should have been more clear. Bimmer is correct. It was taken from robos mk 4/6 peps.

I'm pepping dancing fools mk3. I thought the brace might have been a universal piece. Thanks
