Iron Man 3

Yeah, I also don't like the gold dominant suit. I love that deep red. Just too much gold. Also, I don't like the strong lines in the face/brow. The ears are really nice though. That squared off ear is really great looking. But I don't like too much about the new suit.
 
Stop Crying" over the Gold In this suit If your'e a true comic fan or IM fan you'll understand why this suit keeps evolving? I think is great! Actually got tired of seeing all that crimson the change is cool in my book. Can't wait to see it on film...
 
Like I said I rather like the colors on the new suit,I do prefer the silver and red more but this ain't bad.

However I do go back to the first film and the talk the crew had about making Iron Man real and the problem with the comic book version coming across as a "walking academy award" which is true as the old 80's suit had a lot of gold in it....and now whatta we have? a mostly gold IM.....

Just find that funny.
 
It has to be a briefcase concept armour. as mentioned before with the linage of the armour.

but it must be something different, alomst looks like something from a sports car.

ejection seat armour maybe?

Oh course I understand that the armour has to evolve but that doesn't mean I have to like the way it looks. I haven't always liked the way it looks in the comic either.
 
I wonder if the live action Tony Stark will ever achieve what comicbook Tony Stark achieved in number of suits!

I can understand doing Stealth armor, Hulkbuster, etc.. but this change to a crappy Vanilla Creme Soda color is just ... ugh.
 
i dont even think thats out of the question

if they continue the iron man franchise as they said, similar to bond with different actors eventually, and we get 3 suits a movie, that 40 suits dont seem that far away.
we allready have 10 with the upcoming movie (if they stay true to the concept)
 
There's a difference between "crying" and outright stating this armor looks like ass. I'm on the side of the fence that says this armor looks like ass.

Also, that new armor doesn't look anything like gold to me. The previous suits show exactly what gold is supposed to look like....this is muddy water/cream soda in hue.

If they completely reversed the colors, I think I'd be okay with it.. mostly hotrod red and the creme accents.
