Iron man 3 Mk 8 in pepakura - A collaboration work

Thought I would add some pics of my model progress. I'm working on finishing the abs, cod, thigh and knee. So please have patience. :)

I am sooo excited for these files! After my Mark IV, this is the build I want to do next.
 
so sorry if i had not built the tester for now bro. ran out of vellum paper supply and no cam to take pix with because i was robbed in a bus. robbers took my celphone and $50 worth of money while the other victims had their precious phones and IPADS taken from them. will try to build the whole thing using plain paper on foam which will be tricky.

Actually, just use regular paper will do fine, nothing fancy, it is just a tester file.

Anyway, the file is up.

I just finished making a brief tutorial on how to build this too.

thanks for the concern bro.

actually the tester, IMHO, is also a good basis template. just add some details on this build and your tester can become an actual file. this is a very good job that you and helagak did. :cool

BTW it was 3 bad guys that robbed the bus that i rode. 2 were the gun wielders and the other 1 is the announcer/collector.

Full support on this, guys!! Hats off to your wonderful efforts on the Mark VIII/Mark 42 build in progress.

I'm planning on building this new suit once I finish my Mark VII.

A bit side tracked, I wanted to rebuild the helmet again (a bit bigger), so I can cover my face when taking progress pics. Here's what I had after 4 hours making it (and i think it still not good). This is my second attempt.

Awesome work here!! I'm far away from the whole suit but I also started to model the Iron Man mk8 armor :)

Here are some pictures after 5 hours. I'm not the fastest modeler but I use that project to improve my modeling abilities, soo I'm quiet satisfied with the result so far :p

Hey, I've got IMIM2 files from the junkyard and Manage to finish the chest piece off last night.... The file works and fits me perfectly....
The file was worth the wait :):thumbsup
