Iron man 3 Mk 8 in pepakura - A collaboration work

OMG,
You guys didn't read the instructions :facepalm.
Please PM me your email, otherwise how can I send you the file?
C'mon, still got 5 more slots!
Posting here doesn't count.

A tester file is a simplified version.
It was not meant to be the actual file, but to try out the dimension.

Again, THIS IS NOT THE ACTUAL FILE.

What I am asking is to print the file, quickly build it (using just paper and masking tape), took a picture and make a comment about the size.
In that way, I can determine whether the size is workable or not.

If you interested in helping me out, please send your email thru PM.

@gaiatron: thanks for your assistance, but as for the unfolding, I got it covered. Please send your email thru my PM

Still got empty slots!

For those that I sent out the files, please start posting your finding soon.
I need your feedback on this. It shouldn't take that long.

Finished making and unfolding tester file for the whole arm.
Only five pages for the whole arm, not bad

Why would I think about making a tester file in the first place? Saving me a lot of time and effort :facepalm .

So anybody still interested?

:facepalm sorry bro! PMed you hehehehe

Oh no, another set back.
Just finished making a mock up arm using the tester file.
Bicep seem to be too short. Need to go back to drawing board.

The more I see this, the suit is really more like Mk5, it is a snug-fit. So it should be scaled correctly. The problem would be getting in and off. Need to think of something.

Oh well, at least I can do forearm and shoulder first.

Why not clamshell it? Have it open and use either elastic or velcro to hold it to shape once its actually on. It would be similar to how Stormtrooper shins go on.

Thank you TheNickFox,
Been thinking about it too. Thing is, I don't trust magnet, elastic or velcro, as the glue can failed at any time (it happen to my abs). I was thinking about placing a pair of chicago screws, so it was more like a hinge. Perhaps similar to experimental arms on IM1, except it is not sideways opening.

Okay, now I have all ten people that's going to help me out.
Will wait for your opinion/comment please.
BTW, please read the document info/property.

@Gaiatron: no need for foam. Just make a mock up using paper like I did for the arm.

im interested in the mk 8 templates for the whole suit. im buildin several others for a personal collection and have my basement have that whole suit up feel. i thought why not have the newest suit too. pm or mail me. ill leave a number 314 459 3516 mike

ironmanmkviii or Mike,
Might not be wise to post your phone number or email here. Please delete it. The offer already filled to ten people, and it is not an actual file, it is a simplified file to test the size.

I only got one people reply to me with comments. I wonder where are the other nine?

Am I too late to get the files??? Waaaa! J/k I already got em! Haha can't wait to see how these work out on real people! My mark 4 journey is finally done. It's about time to move on to the mark 8! :)
