So I decided to start another build after an eight year hiatus. You see, I started making large scale robot suit armor about fifteen years ago out of foam rubber and duct tape. The work you fine folks do on this board make it seem like I was building in the dark ages, but through reading your posts I have found inspiration again...thanks for that.
Anyway, here's a couple of one-off original pieces I did a decade ago..
This one was stilted about 21" and I'm 6'4"...
almost 9' with the helmet(not pictured obviously)
This one was female...well that's just how it turned out. I didn't start out with a plan. The plastics and foams I found just led me in that direction. I call it my failed attempt at drag. Nobody ever takes pics when I have the head gear on!
That's all I got for now. I'm starting a War Machine thread soon, so don't hesitate to throw me some criticism or tips.
