info on BR Spinner models???

a couple of weeks ago a beautiful 17" Spinner model went on sale on Ebay and I was wondering if anyone has any info on this version? How rare is it? I know about the BACK TO THE FUTURE black toy version but the 17" blew that one clear outta the water.

the Anubis one is the only resin kit I know about. Try searching this forum on that. I know info has been posted on it in the past.

If it had the figures of Deckard and Gaff cast into their seats, it is most likely the Anubis kit, or the Monsters in Motion recast of it. Most of the resin kits of this were made in Japan, but the Anubis was made by a member here (anubispro) about 20 years ago. I believe MiM still sells their recast too. they have some great detail but are too narrow in proportion. Still one of the largest kits made as of yet of the spinner. The Randy Cooper one looks to be awesome though. I am saving money now for it.

I want one too. I remember seeing a build here a few years ago... Or maybe it was last year? Either way, it was beautiful and highly detailed. I,ve been close to resorting to buying the dvd box set with the spinner model and the little diecast unicorn extras, but the cost isn't worth it compared to a large scale model kit. I'll do a search and all, but hopefully when one comes along in the jy I'll have $ for it.
