I know it's debatable, but they are saying it actually fell in the theaters.
Though it's actually not that debatable, cause the kids haven't aged a day, so he's got to be dreaming.

Actually it's not that easy and still open for debate, as you don't know how long he has been running, for all we know it could only be a few weeks or a month... Dream time is exponential by layer, so years in a dream were not years in real time, blurring reality with dreams especially for him who was living his life inside and outside a dream already...

True, but I'm also led to believe this because the kids were exactly where he had left them.
Actually the kids are each played by 2 different actors to show they have aged by the end

It's also the only time they're shown wearing different clothes.
Yap, remember reading an article or something like that saying that the costume designer was to design two sets of costume for the kids, that were similiar but not identical..
Really liked the film.. I like these movies you come out of and that make you discuss even hours after the movie is over.. Shutter Island and Inception are definately two of the best movies this year, in my opinion..
About inconsistency: I dunno, I found it kinda ''confusing'' that they were so crazy about that a shot is a direct way to wake you up but in the beginning of the movie 'I dont remember his name' gets shot and wakes up in the upper level, which from my understanding should either wake him up directly or bring him down into the limbus.. Well, that could be explained with the dose of sedative, but yet..

here is a review on the similarities of Shutter Island and Inception.....I thought shutter island was a little bit better than inception though

I just picked up the BR disc this morning. Any idea what the deal is with the white sticker on the lower right? They want you to take a picture of the sticker with your cell phone & text the pic to a number they provide.

Picked up the Target deal for the Blu-ray... the DVD alone was the same price $17.99 for the Blu-ray, DVD and digital download.
I thought the movie was terribly overrated - and I didn't care for a much of it, I'm really not sure why I bought it. I guess I need to give it a second chance and it was a good deal.

Just picked up the blu-ray/dvd/digital copy from Target. Anyone else think Ellen Page looks preggers on the cover?
Now you can't unsee it. haha.
I enjoyed the movie but only got to see it in theaters once. Like it or not, there are some great props involved.

interesting to see Eames named scratched out and Arthur's name scratched out further down the line..maybe he couldnt decide which character would stay behind in the hotel or go to the snow fortress...
also, shows Cobbs turn in Limbo but gets kicked back to reality, so does that mean he intentions were to send him back?
