If you won the lottery, what props would you get.

I would go for only ONE prop:
The Grail Diary from The Last Crusade.

With the rest of the money I'd help my brother to build a career and write my own diary.

Okay I appreciate your minimalist, keep it simple philosophy, but let's think bigger.

At least have a life size LC Sean Connery holding the thing. Maybe Indy on the leap from the Lions head or something. :D (y) :p

Okay I was just thinking prop purchases but since others have mentioned their good works.

I would make sure my family and one friend are all set. I don't like people so the circle is small. I would also have money set for my kids but it would be for later. They would not get it until they are 40 or so. I know if I had a ton of money young I would blow it.

For charitable work I always wanted to concentrate on one thing. Not donate here or there and hope it makes a difference. One thing and focus on that making sure it was happening.

So I would work on building infrastructure in a poor area of Africa. This poor continent cannot get a break, so I would look at a remote area know one cares about a. A small village and build them what they need.

I skimmed the thread, but I'm surprised nobody said: A full scale Millennium Falcon. And I don't care if it ends up somewhat oversized, I would have it made so you could actually go into it. Of course, I'm not going leave it outside in the weather. I'd put it in an industrial steel building dressed like the Death Star hangar on the inside (with assorted other hallways).

Han in Carbonite with all the bells and whistles

Vader ANH saber with all vintage parts

Fett EEB blaster

Custom 100% accurate Heart of the Ocean necklace with real gems.

I’d have a full-size Rick Deckard apartment with everything no-expense perfectly replicated. Outside I would have a full-size flying Spinner and finally I would track down Dan Lanigan and throw money at him until he handed over the one and only hero blaster.
I'd go one better and buy the Frank Lloyd wright house..
A snip at 15 million when it sold a few years back.
I'd then have basically the best backdrop to oh so many classic movies and a nighttime vista I personally love..
Actually If available I'd buy Griffith Observatory too, I love the JD statue and the views plus its a very special place for the family.

I'd buy a nice, large piece of forested land and do themed structures, cabins, tiny houses, gardens and water features for each of my fandoms in different sections of it. Star Trek bridge set, Bond casino, Raiders temple, Star Wars cantina, TARDIS, Jurassic Park gate, Mr. Miyagi's zen garden and dojo, Overlook hotel hedge maze, Bilbo's Hobbit Hole, Swiss Family Robinson tree house, Yoda's Hut, Tony Stark's house, etc...

Tony Starks House!
I'm guessing Point Dume will be a sizeable chunk of wonga! (yeah I know it's CGI and Charlie Heston left his loin cloth there :D)

Sounds sweet I'd certainly want to come there.. The best.

Would buy a nice little patch of land.... build the house from Psycho on a hill... out back, through a little forested area, the Evil Dead 2 cabin. Maybe in the Psycho house, have the living room/kitchen as is, but theme the bedrooms, from certain horrors like 1408.

If there was a body of water like a lake, a full size Orca moored up. Also, would build a "The Slaughtered Lamb" bar from American Werewolf somewhere within walking distance of all three, not too close, but not too far to walk at night during a full moon.

1000 acres with rock formations big enough to drill a cave and make my own Warehouse 13 and buy a Stargate replica currently for sale at 20k as the door. Id also build an elaborate labyrinth complete with a xenomorph Queen and egg chamber in the center, holographs of famous movie killers like Freddy, and escape rooms and trap doors. Once every nerd muscle and fantasy has been thoroughly stretched, Id buy up cheap land in rundown parts of cities to create sustainable communities for the homeless. Knock down condemned neighborhoods that are just sitting there and turn it into farmland that is made and run for those in need, complete with therapy, job placements, and housing.

Well if we’re talking real estate, how about building Jabba’s sail barge as a real “floating” land yacht, on location at the original Pit of Karcoon?
