I felt something was wrong from the beginning: a lot of cheap Sideshow Idols, sold everywere MR coins sets, rare full map canvas, found in a day. I am sure that everything can't be so smooth and fine as it permanently was in business with Eli. Now,recalling all these details, I am just wondering to myself. Sometimes people just do not want to see obvious things. I do not blame the Eli, but I think at this point I'll ask for the refund. I am sure, I'll never get anything from him.

For all of you overseas waiting for your items we are required to add a US Customs form (simple form if under 1 pound or 5 page carbon copy form over 1 pound) with everything that is mailed overseas. A US Customs number is on each form. Did you guys get that number from Eli? It usually starts with a "USXXXXXXXXX" and can be used to track the package as it is in the Customs system. You can track it via WWW>USPS>COM>

Yeah the post office automatically gives them to you when you try to ship even into canada. I see alot of those shipping figures.

So no one's gotten any refunds or products from Eli? It looks like a lot of people were given the customs story. He said UPS lost my package (a SS Idol) and he was getting them to process a refund. I've been waiting 4 or so months for the refund, and gave some extra time due to the friend issue, but like others have said, enough is enough. That's a huge chunk of change for me not to be refunded.

I did not get any customs numbers from Eli. But I have asked about it few times.

Can someone let me know how paypal works if you paid him, I recently got a payment request cancellation but i dont think the money is back in my account. Anyone know how to look back at transactions?

I'm in the same boat.

The problem with PayPal is that you only have 60 days to make a claim. So if you're working with anyone with over a two-month backlog, you won't really be covered.

Yup you are correct, its 45 days, because awhile ago I got burned back in the spring by a member here named: plastic ninja

By the time I realized he was taking my money it was just over the 45 day grace period of Paypal so I got screwed.

Goodluck to everyone, I hope you get yr money back. Have any of you contact a mod yet to check out this thread?

Just to let you know the_eli is up to his old tricks, so far in the past month on ebay he has six negative feedbacks. He is taking peoples money but not sending out the items that have been paid for!

Meta440, I could be wrong but I believe your payment request cancellation means the paypal dispute you lodged may have timed out if you did not escalate your case!

I have spoken to several members recently who are still waiting for their money back. The ebay account the_eli was operating from 'jcharlie7' is marked as 'No Longer a Registered User'.
