ID'ing / locating an obscure prop helmet

Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong section. Long story short, I was given the chance to buy a helmet from an unknown production (image below), many many years ago. I'd totally forgotten about it until recently, when I was clearing some images from an old laptop. I never did manage to find what it was from, and kinda regret not buying it. Does anyone recognise it?

Wow looks like they put a lot of work into modifying a (mostly) open-face motorcycle helmet, glassing in some goggles and the snout. All the fill work around the snout looks super wavy. I don't recognize it, looks late 70's to me though for some reason.

Looks to be a vintage Bell Star helmet.

It's certainly interesting, especially considering the amount of work that's obviously gone into it. I wish I'd kept the other images.

The mask addition looks so familiar, like I've seen it on a movie or TV show. My best guess that it is an oxygen mask of WW2 vintage of perhaps a pilot or gunner. Maybe a even a SCBA for a firefighter?
