I think my Iron Man suit might have been recast!

For a noob (an being still a relative noob myself) he seems to be working mighty hard to clear his name - especially when he might not have that much invested here as some older members do.

Then again - he might just be trying to protect his "product base."
I say innocent until proven guilty - this is mainly a US forum - so lets go with that.

If he turns out to be lying - THEN we hang him

hi davey been speaking to kapow johnathan pow whos your frind been explaining all the details and mix up and confusion with him and he said i should talk to you and ill put this on the forum as well as im not trying to hide anything.you were a very friendly helpful guy and great to deal with and ive read through our emails again and again if you could do the same.
i see where i ask you is it ok to cast some parts and you say no i then say ok ill make my own but copy and alter some small parts which you say ok.
this i think is where the confusion is it seems a grey area i made metal parts of the parts you custom did for my suit as this was not casting off of yours i didnt think i was breaking any rules. to be honest i still dont know if that is please tell me what you think and if it is ill remake those parts slightly different if thats what you want the pics on my face book look like your suit as they are mate was so chuffed with it i put them on there if you look i dont claim ive made them and have yet to put mine up which i shall so youll see how different they are.
im not a re caster or con man or out to rip people off i told you why i wanted to have the suit for the cancer idea and also everything i sell helps to fund that.
i have brought and sold and made other suits and items in the past and also as you know been selling helmets for some time.im hoping this can be sorted and ill put some of my pics on this as and attchment and hope that works as you know im not great with pcs

did this work for starters see it did this is just the start im going through it all now and will put pep picks up to and i know i have some on a phone with me in some so thatll help ill put some up with measurements and a tape on them maybe if davey would be so kind to do the same please mate and if you cant already see the different you will then just look at the abs mine arnt half as good as daveys there bigger and crocked unlevel and look at the back size and detail though i used his pics for the pattern its very differnet and so much bigger and the leg parts different ill keep them coming like i said im not a coward hiding just been some confusion on mine and daveys part 95% mine it seems but im trying to put it right so please bear with me people hope this at least shows im trying any imput what to do ill do what i can thanks and cant seem to get davey so if someone wants to tell him im trying that would help

thanks mate its ok any imput or help on what i should do is welcome i was a blacksmith for years so computers are hard for me and please people its kind of you but dont say theres no copy rite and its ok for re casting i know its trying to help but i agree with the others its wrong and as for after masked riders suit i messaged him in the past with price info and i also messaged him once when someone was trying to resell his suit on ebay if i was a con man would i do that and as ive been told by a good couple of guys now dont ask about casting rites unless they offer makes you look guilty but i always have asked everytime im interested in something that way i know where i stand if i had interest i just think thats honest surley re casters dont do that they just buy and copy is that rite

I have to agree all those are of parts being painted. WIP pics of pepakura or foam being done would help you out more.

i know that i did say in the post more to come and you see how im struggling with this its just first i found and shows how different mine and the one im acussed of casting is thats all i am on the other picks and pep now and trying to contact davey and send to the mods etc please its alot at once for someone whos useless on a computer at once but i am on it

Hey guys.

I know I am not an admin/mod at RPF but taking credit for others work drives my nuts out. So here is a little extra comparison I had to post to calm me down.

Here is an image of what Angel has on facebook as the cast of "his" abs section and a pic of his wip.

The details on these images are no where near the same so I guess this is an attempt at doing what Davy and many others do so well but just didn't have the skills to pull it off and went and recast Davy's suit.

I don't like to wrongly accuse people or be a party to it and I am in no way an authority in this but hate seeing those wronged by. We are a community so I guess we all can have our part to play in making sure this is dealt with. It doesn't take much to see the cast on the left was not taken from the master to the right. I know that more work could have been done after the wip pic to make it exactly the same in EVERY detail as Davy's but that is a little far fetched imo.

If the Admins feel this post is out of line then by all means remove it.

man you are just proving your a recaster ... these are cast from davy that you recasted and you just putted primer on it to look like its WIP
if you did these from pep files you might have some pictures of them fiberglassed or something ...
sorry but davy worked really hard on this iron man suit and recasting it is like ignoring all the effort he putted on it
