I assure you they are aware of the situation and are looking into it. Keep in mind, moderators are volunteers, and do this in their free time. There's also a lot behind the scenes most people don't know about (I used to be a moderator for another well known tech forum) :thumbsup

I'm a little bit worried about this, I was contacted by angelousprime23 about commissions for a mk 8 (iron man 3) iron man pepakura model, though my modeller didn't take the commission because of lack of ref and personal reasons regarding the character in question, we didn't accept the commission. I just thought I'd add this here. I don't if it has any relevance or not to this thread at all.

Wow, I'm not even 10 (make that 5 posts) posts into my contributions for this forum and I know the RPF's stance too well already (before this thread even). Such a shame that people do this to someone's hard work...
I had to learn that the US has a rule of 30% original design that furniture makers like IKEA take advantage of all the time. That goes down even to the fasteners on it. Sometimes it can be just different bolts and then off to market with it.
I've noticed that in situations like these, people don't even go out of their way to change a dot about these things by their own will...

one thing i will say is that the helmet looks like the same as the ones i bought from him , only thing is i dont know if they are his origonal build or not. i totally trusted this guy im absolutley gutted how this transpired

no its not sorry aniki sorry didnt get back to you having a few issues of my own being accused of being a recaster which im not and have build pics to prove it its being dealt with at the mo and theres gunna be a few people who owe me a massive sorry at the end.
ive been making helmets and things for nearly 2 years on ebay and stuff and am climbing Kilimanjaro next year in my suit for cancer research and my brother in law is doing it 2 thats why i want a different suit so please keep your opinions to yourself untill you know what your talking about

That is the same email address that Angel has posted many times here on the forum and he also has it posted as his contact information on Facebook and Youtube. I don't think it needs to be omitted. If it was a personal address that he hadn't shared with anyone then I would agree.

Mockle, I saw your link above... I can't believe anyone would still sell him their stuff. Anyone thinking of selling anything to Angel should please reconsider. He will, no doubt, recast it as well. This is a 2nd hand sell too so because it is a Maskedrider suit, we might have yet another very talented mate getting ripped off.

Why have you taken so long to post your build pics? If I were being wrongly accused then I would have all my pics posted in an hour. Maybe you are taking so long because you are scrambling to find other people's build pics so you can take them and claim that they are your own. We will be watching and waiting.

I'm not seeing it. Are you sure he didnt just make one that looks similar?

I mean, there are ALOT of .PDOs out there, and alot of them look the same.

Did YOU use .PDOs to make the original, or did you model it from Scratch using, say; wood, bondo, cardboard, etc...?

I do notice some Similarites, but I also notice differences...

So you bought Davy's suit in September, and it was too small, so you made a new one completely from scratch... Pepped, bondoed, finished, molded, cast ALL in two months? Something that takes most people 6 months to more than a year to do? I'd love to see the progress pics.
