Big updates coming in the next few weeks. Currently building my own Colt Hybrid instead of trying to track down the Western Arms version. In the mean time here's my Christmas sweater I made yesterday.

Haha. Thank you sir. Seems I had a package waiting for me when I returned home that had been here for a week or so and it was just what I hoped it would be. This is a beautiful piece I've gotta say, though I am going to disassemble it and strip the wood parts in order to stain them darker and then refinish them. I find them to be a bit to light compared to the shotguns used in the film but otherwise I couldn't be happier with it and the incredible deal I got on it. Then it's onto assembling my Colt Hybrid and finally some new costume shots wearing the first variation of the costume. Stay tuned.

DAMN the wood sure is bright. Where did you get it??
The wood I got for mine was really, really too dark. I had to brighten mine :p

Yeah, it's fairly bright but it's also the lightning on it as well. I bought it off a guy I met through an Airsoft group on Facebook. Payed $180 for it and he threw in a box of shells with it.

This is a phenomenal costume build. It's one I've thought about for years. Glad to see someone put it together so well. Great work.

Thanks man! Its you folks supportive comments that really make it worth while for me. If you ever get ready to make a build yourself just hit me up about any questions, I have to admit it was the most challenging costume I've done yet but it's the one I'm most proud of.
