I Guess I've Made a Lot of Costumes...

Really amazing work! It was terrific fun to have a look at your costume history you are a creative and talented builder! :)

I am just glad you care to share with all of us here, for a "behind the scenes" process vs only seeing the final result

The whole point of the forum is to share ideas. I know I'll never have the time to build all of the things I want. I can only hope that somehow I'm contributing to the knowledge of some similarly insane person who will go on to make something cool that I don't have time to build for myself. Then we can trade...

Did you happen to be selling one of those Ironman helmets on Ebay?

I haven't sold anything on Ebay for a couple of years. Too many problems and the fee structure has become cost prohibitive.

how the heck do you store all of these though!?

Store? I just rotate them through the rack in the closet and pick a different character each day until the month is over and I have to start at the beginning again...

Seriously though, most of them fit into a stack of very large rubbermaid bins. With desiccant packs to keep them fresh and dry. The main exception is the Space Marines which have scattered to various friends' houses where they either stand prominently displayed or else take up a parking space in the garage.

I really liked the articles about you and your work in Make.

Thanks. They really did a great job of making it awesome. It's a great outfit and I had a lot of fun working with them.

In other news, I stumbled across this pic the other day. It's an oldie but a goodie:

There's also a black and white version if you're so inclined:

In that same vein, there's this one too:

Thanks for the compliments, folks.

New addition to the list, an accurate replica of the screen-used Ironman costume:

I just need to find the right sunglasses and a donut to sit in...

Add another one to my list of finished costumes:

This is my recently-completed Ironman MkIII armor:

I still need to get better pictures with fresh batteries to drive the lights and a less distracting background, but for now it's a done thing.

Looking at the OP, I couldn't help but think "Collect Them All" was a fitting heading for that group shot!!! LOL!!
