Anyone have any "I Dream of Jeannie" bottles out there?? Would love to see pics!
I think my all-time favorite is the season 2 bottle :)
I attached a pic of one I found online that I loved.. I've been trying to hunt one down for my Dad. He always had a huge crush on Jeannie! lol

Yeah I found some great Jim Beam bottles on eBay.. I'm trying to go about it the most inexpensive way possible.. think that'd be my best bet? lol
You can always find them on ebay, either finished or The bottle used was a Jim beam liquor bottle.

I adore it :)

Re: I Dream of Jeannie lamp

Mine was painted by someone else but I remember a thread on here years ago on how to paint those and they are a bear.

Even with a stencil quite a few members gave up!

Yep. There are even the patterns on-line somewhere. Let me see if I can dig them up. Found them on the net a while ago.

Re: I Dream of Jeannie lamp

Nope. I had deleted them. But they're out there. Google should to do it for you.

Re: I Dream of Jeannie lamp

Oh man, what kid wouldn't have wanted such a lamp back in its day. Just rub the lamp and a gorgeous blonde appears and does whatever magic you want her to perform.

Okay, that didn't quite come out the way I wanted, but I can't think of a better way to have rephrased that!

Huh, I've got a mold of that bottle that I did for an old client. Wonder what I could do with a hollow cast and a fog machine?

Are the designs hard to paint onto the bottles? I'm gonna get one of the cds you can buy on eBay that's a step-by-step tutorial. But I've never painted before so I'm kinda scared to say the least haha

I was one of the ones ones that stuck it out, and brother, let me tell you, it ain't easy!!! Even WITH stencils, color charts, a slew of fine paint brushes, magnifiers and a rock steady hand, there were many, many times I damn near chucked it across the room in frustration. I had to paint a little then wait a week. Paint a little, wait a week. It took me 6 months to finish. I will NEVER paint another one again! But finally it was done and it looked great!
Was it worth it in the end?
Hell NO! :lol

Hello everyone! I noticed this thread in a google search. I just wanted everyone to know if they are seriously interested in purchasing an authentic Jeannie bottle that IMO, David Matson is your best bet. I am an administrator of the We Dream Of Jeannie fansite and we have a few artists that we know deliver the bottles ordered and that they paint on original Jim Beams......we have them up as featured artists on our site. If you are interested in painting your own bottles you might get some tips on our site from other members and artists. Also we have a large gallery of jeannie bottle photos from many artists and screenshots from the show that would be very helpful.

The bottle and a few other props from the show have been extensively researched by different member in the Jeannie community and much of that information is available on our site.

I'm so glad to have found this place.......we have many fans on our site that are into the Wizard of Oz as well as Star Wars/Star Trek/Superheroes and general prop making and collecting. I'm definitely going to post this link for them on our site.
