I Dream of Jeannie Bottle Graphics

Here, I am attempting to create an easier option than painting the bottle.

Okay it's not going to look painted like it should, but I'm too cheap to pay for one of the nice painted ones, I can't paint my own.

So I had three ideas and have settled on one.

Individual vinyl appliques for each element on the bottle.

I've remapped the bottle and created shapes that will wrap the bottle.

From this image. Here is my interim Test Pieces, just laser prints tapped on for sizing.

So eventually each color is separated and cut in vinyl. It will be a heck of vnyl applique job, but it's gotta be easier than painting......right?

Very cool idea. Is the original bottle color that metallic purple or is the photo playing tricks?

Very cool! That is up my alley as well, I can't paint all that intricate stuff.

Or, if you're hell bent on a tough sticker job do the inverse and use them as masks for painting.

If I were to have the graphics cut but not weeded, and laid out right, you could weed them yourself and use them as masks.

That will be my first real test.

The vinyl cutter already has the files, I should get some test pieces on Monday.

I already have a bottle but I'll be watching this thread.

It'll be interesting to see how good a look you can get out of them, I imagine from arms length it should look pretty good.
