I can't find it!

Greetings.

I've been searching the web and some local shops, and I can't find what I am looking for.
I am trying to find a good USS Reliant (Miranda class) kit, preferably with lights.

I don't really want a resin kit, I'm worried about "after market" lights messing it up.
I really like the polar lights kits, but I can't find one with a Miranda class ship as the base.
I'm looking to make a custom ship (Custom identification name/number).

Something in the 20 inch long (if not a little bigger) is my goal.

Help appreciated in advance.

Get the old ERTL kit and put your own lights in it. There never was a Reliant WITH lights kit. There should be a ton of them on Evilbay.

Thanks for that.

I will start looking on Ebay to see what is out there.

Thank you..

PM me, I've got a couple.

The ERTL reliant kit is a decent kit but if you get all of the aftermarket corrections it can be made REALLY nice. If I remember though it doesn't make it to the 20inch mark though... If I remember correctly there were some who were going to create a 1/350 Miranda kit AW studios I believe but I haven't heard anythign about that project in some time after some very impresive shots of it in the early stages. Their stargazer is awesome from the pictures of it... I'd expect their Miranda to be at least as good ;) Whenever that comes out...

Both are still under development. We were extremely busy during the Halloween season with our Ghostbuster kit sales. But the Connie (Stargazer) is getting her final details worked on and we hope to get her females bucs made within the next month.

The Mira (Miranda/Reliant) has also had some progress. She will hopefully be ready for some test pulls by sometime in March (at least I hope so). Hotshot, Crashmann and I are working hard to make these kits as high a quality as we can. It takes time.

For those of you that missed them, here are the links to the photos.

Awesome Stargazer.

Super detail work - that is going to be a beauty.

Thanks John. We may have it available at the Farpoint Convention. I know Garrison Tyranus attends this. I am part of the OLG for Maryland (SL 1702).

Sweet.

I'll be at Farpoint - wouldn't miss it for the world. I attended last year (my first time) and had a great time.
I still haven't decided what costume to bring. Sandtrooper or Imperial Gunner. See you there.

See ask and you shall receive... ;) The stargazer does look awesome. But with realestate in my house at a premium I'm gonna wait for the Miranda to go with the PL E ;)

Although if I had unlimite room I'd be all over that stargazer kit...
