Hylian Shield WIP

For our daughter to carry at MomoCon, here's progress on Link's shield:


Beginning with a 2' x 2' panel of 1" pink insulation foam:



8" panels; center panel edges beveled; glued with Gorilla Glue.


Cut to shape; face covered with cloth and Mod Podge:




Edge trim and Triforce of 5 mm EVA foam:




Grip and strap on back brace:




Face trim carved from laminated EVA (a bit rough):
