Huge News - New 1/6 And 1/4 Hot Toys Predators!

The other thing I like about this is the fact that I can buy the very first one that comes out in 1/4 and judge for myself to say which one I think is more better in quality when my NECA nad HT stand side by side for comparison.
 
Regular 1:6 scale human figures are 12 inches tall since it is assumed that the character is 6 foot tall. 6 feet is 72 inches.

1:6 Scale Hot Toys Predators are 14 inches tall since it is assumed that Predators are 7 feet tall. 7 feet is 84 inches tall.

84 divided by 6 is 14 inches.

It can be assumed that a 1:4 scale Predator would be 21 inches tall since 84 divided by 4 is 21. This last part is just a guess though.

It sounds like NECA is not very good at Math then if this be the case and I highly doubt the HT figures would be scaled at the 21" mark unless they are trying to out do NECA
 
So, all in all we can assume they will more than likely be around 17-20 inches in height?

Whoa... o_O they will be competing with the NECA Pred's of that scale.
 
GREAT!!More Hot Toys Predator figures.......I hope the PREDATORS Classic I got on pre order will hold me back from getting these.
 
you know they've probably been reading all out praises about neca recently and decided "F%&K THIS S#@T, WE ARE THE BEST TOY COMPANY IN THE WORLD NOT SOME S#@TTY AMERICAN TOY COMPANY!!!! WE'RE GONNA END THIS RIGHT NOW!!"

i think the 1/4 scale figs are gonna be unbelievable! along with a remake of a couple oldies... i was about the get a snake pred body and finish him up to a p2 anyway.... glad i dodged that bullet...

Why do we get left in the dark with these, we have no idea which is next and in what scale.They really left us guessing here, i really hate that.I kind of knew this was going to happen , DC and marvel announced this months ago.I would love a 1/4 batman wow would that be a show stopper.

Question is, will he look any good and will I have to sell my body on these mean streets to afford him? I sense I might, he's not going to be cheap, is he?

I really hope these figures are good, I would like some quality figures for the collection. Sad but true fact that the quality of most of my Transformers far outstrips that of most of my other figures. I smelled the word 'die cast' in the babble, die cast masks would be amazing as long as they don't bugger up the rest of the figure with crappy paintjobs. Will be keeping an eye on these with some interest.
 
Better to skip the first wave from HT.
Their figures are getting better and better, and they do release retoioled and improved versions of the original release. Sinse they have not produced in 1/4 scale yet, they could have quality/assembly/articulation issues. Probably it's best to wait for them to work out the kinks first, and go for later releases.
 
We totally need a 1/6 Predator 2 thread , i cant wait.The 1/4 stuff is going to be bad ass but i really think there going to be a sump of money.I am 1/6 all the way but i like Bill want that elder 1/4 (y)
 
lol, ok, no one post in this thread again untill there are some pics to be seen, i check their site daily, but i still have half a heart attack when i see this thread has moved up for some reason. i wan't some new and improved HT preds so bad i can smell the HT plastic already! taxes all just filed in so i'm bouts to get at least one or two that are out and unaccuired yet... man i love tax season :D
