HP3 Marauders Map

I have printed out 4 or 5 of these maps, if you take your time they will line up correctly.. I have manipulated the first and last page where the inside grounds of the castle can be colored in by hand with a red marker, also did page 5 the same way.. but they won't upload here if you want them send me a pm and send the links to download them.

Thanks Lilpatty. I'll print it out at work on our plan printer...it prints out at 900mm wide by however long I need ;)
If I think I need to colour anything in I'll let you know. Thanks for the offer.

Hey everyone,
sometime ago, there was an auction for a prisoner of azkaban premiere ticket (I guess) and it also came with a invitation to a POA party, that's was kinda of designed like the Marauder's Map.

The thing is, I did not save the action pictures.
I was wondering if someone saw the item, saved them.
If so, would you plase share them with me?

I'd really, really appreciate it.

This is the invite I'm looking for pictures of.
So, if you have any, please share.

Thanks. ;)

Bumping... still looking for any reference of it.
Also, if anyone has pictures of an original map,
I'd really appreciate if you could share.

Thanks.

You'd think there'd be a parchment type paper around. Butcher paper seems too brown and thin

I work at a plan printing and archiving shop.
We have train drawings dating back to the late 1800's (which is darn good for Australia as we are a relatively young country)

We have drawings on parchment...it is also known as tracing paper...not the type you get on a 30cm roll from the supermarket but proper thick parchment. The really old drawings are falling apart. Especially if they've been folded. They would look so cool if they weren't of train nuts and bolt drawings LOL but don't tell my boss that!
I would guess to buy a 42 in wide roll would cost a fortune! Our basic white 900mm rolls cost about $120 (I think - please don't quote me on that!) and we don't use parchment/tracing paper anymore as everything is done on the computer now in CAD and we just print them out on white paper.

My only other suggestion would be to try a BIG printing company in your area. Give them a ring and tell them you are after some ends of rolls for the kids school to do treasure maps on...the big companies like to help out the schools ;) I did that once and got a huge box of paper. Some of it was lovely like gold and silver but most was like fluro orange that they were probably thankful to get rid of :lol so I donated that to my local Kindy ;)
HTH?

I just spent an hour searching for parchment roll, drafting paper and parchment paper and I couldn't find any on a roll. I'll ask my boss tomorrow. He might be able to look it up wholesale?

There in lays the problem., you want a scan.
Big NO-NO especially where WB is concerned (I know someone that works in the legal dept that also peruses this forum occasionally)

You would be better off doing the leg work and finding pictures of the actual prop then making one from scratch.
Pictures of almost all the parts can be found on the net if you look for them.
You already have the dimensions so roughing it out is really easy.

this may be a repost but u can buy the actual map from universal studios, via harrypotter land. can buy online aswell for reference
