I'm very new to this forum...very new...and wanted to know what are the best things/materials to sculpt figures, vehicles, props, etc.???? Any input would be great!!!! Thanks!!!!:)

If you're sculpting small figures, in my opinion Superfine Milliput gives the best result. Others would argue Aves Apoxie Sculpt, which is a very good product also, but I find that Milliput is a bit 'finer' to work with for tiny details. There's a good 'primer' on Milliput's website which shows the process of figure sculpting, starting with a wire armature. However, there are plenty of other more detailed explanations I've seen online, but haven't bothered to keep track of, I'm sure the friendly forum goers here will point them out.
As for vehicles etc... many of us use whatever is available... foam, carved resin, Aves, greeblies from junk kits, whatever. It's a big subject, you should find plenty of inspriration here.
Good luck!

Easy to follow instructions:

1. Get some clay.
2. Make something.

Now you're all set.
That will be 20.00.
Have a nice day.

joking aside, i think that's a great way to go.

get some cheap modeling clay from a craft store and just play with it.

do you have a specific project in mind? i find it easier to learn a new thing if i'm learning it for a reason.

great stuff...thanks for all the input!!!!! i'm looking to make things for star wars....figures, vehicles, etc.!!!!
