How much for a blank Cap shield?

Hey guys I am pretty new at prop making and I am starting a couple of projects soon, (one of them being the laser rifle from fallout) I was hoping to make a captain America shield also as part of a school year project and was wondering if anyone on the forum sells blank shields? My budget is tight I am not going to lie and if I refuse an offer that is reasonable its not that its not a fair price it's just means I can't afford it!

I believe most are getting their aluminum shield blanks from Ebay and if you want to try the low budget you can get a steel saucer sled from Amazon.

Your biggest problem will be shipping costs. Here in the States, the spun aluminum blank ships for around $45. The steel saucer sled isn't too bad to ship here, however shipping across the pond is going to hurt.

Yeah that's my problem the blank shield is already about 145 euro and then with shipping to Ireland the price just gets crazy! I think I will just go with the low budget saucer or satellite dish attempt, Thanks for the info!
