How can I scale stuff in Pepakura to my size?

Hello, I'm sorry if there is already a forum that exists like this.

My girlfriend and I are in the process of making a few sets of Iron Man armor but we have run into a snag.
For one, I happen to be much bigger than my girlfriend, and we put together a pepakura helmet and its too small even for her. We have most of the pieces printed out for the rest of the armor but we are concerned that they will be to small.

Anyone know or can share how to scale the pieces? That would shave a ton of time off this project and headaches.

In the pepakura program, right click on the side that has the 2d pieces and select "measure distance between two points" or whatever it's called and that way you can kinda guess whether your armor/helmet will fit. Just remember it makes a straight line when you select two points so you will have to measure that way. Hope it helps and happy building guys.

Go here in the menu.

And if you didn't know, that is in Pepakura Designer, not viewer. Also if you use the point to point line tool (right click the 2D window) you need to compensate for the thickness of the material.

I am building a Iron man mark 6 suit out of foam and I need to scale the pieces to my size, does anyone know where I can find all the sizes so I can find out which size I need to scale to?

Hi.

I found this option and tried increasing something that was too small by 10% but nots it's slightly too big (doh)

Is there any way I can upscale it by 5%

I've been all around google and am going through JFcustoms post now but it's like 90 pages long, I could be there for weeks.

If anyone can help it'd be appreciated :)

You'd have to do Scale Factor from that same menu, do the math, and enter the preferred variable manually.

i think the key to effective scaling and sizing pep is this: [reference pics/the measure between two points tool/ and fine tunning]
jfcustoms wrote up an awesome tutorial on how to fine tune pep files to better fit.

I found it is easiest for me using Photoshop.... I find the image that I want to create in a straight on picture. I select the image from head to toe and make the image my height. at that point I will select the part I am making and when you go to canvas or image size it will tell you the measure in inches, mm, cm
