Found this in my drawer. Now i can go build Rebel stuff. But then what will I use to measure things?

Yes Tom, the knurled knobs are all from Michell or Transcriotor parts. I think only two are accurate for this prop though.

I never figured out what the large bezels are but they're not Michell parts.

My tape measure looked too small to me. It's the 16ft one, not the 20ft like DJ's.

Are all those knurled knobs michell parts?

Also, I must have missed it, the big main discs on the tape measure... have those been IDed?

They were also found on one of the HIC panels and may have been IDed as a 1979 Volvo (European Model) instrument panel bezel.

Not from the Volvo or identified as far as I know.

Are the bezels raised slightly from the surface?

Or do they have a flat edge around the base?

I vote flat edge. I can kind of see a bright reflection on the left one facing the camera

The ones I machined have a flat edge and I can see it in the reference photo.

I'm thinking those bezels may have been used for the ignition or light switches inside a Volvo. I know there are similar parts inside a '66 Mustang. I had one for years.

Just looked one up made by Lucas, starter/horn/etc. And the bezel certainly looks the part, if it's the same size, I love learning stuff like this

Oh boy. Either they used one of my kits or they reproduced it, because it has the wrong knobs near the bottom.

What did you figure was the diameter of your bezel?! I spent so much time over these parts myself for the HIC .. they clearly are the same parts for sure!
