Dude, DON"T kitbash that figure. Thats my addvice, it's the rarest HT figure out there and it would be a shame to just kitbash it.

Scar is the jewel of my predator collection, the quality of that figure is top notch, far better then some of the others but also one of the hardest to put together with his FULL armor.


That's why most people used the Chopper predator for their KitBashing because it was always half the price as Scar & Celtic, with most of the same parts.

There was a guy from the UK selling 8 HT's NIB Scars for $200USD each on Ebay. He had them listed as a Pre-order in the auction. Didn't take PayPal....seemed kinda fishy to me. They didn't last long though! I considered it....but the not taking PayPal and his feedback wasn't the greatest either made me steer clear.

yeah mate, do not kitbash that figure. even if he's not one of your faves, that guy is gold. (i sold one, but wish i kept his helmet) plus he was the hero of the 1st AVP... and that alone is worth more than the others.

Yes, sure! I'm going to have to pay £130 (close to $260 or a little more than 165€) for the figure...
It's not very expensive, when we consider how this item is rare!

Let me know what you hunters think of this Bad Ass Mother Fu@ker, I wasn't to sure about this HT peice but now that it's here I love it. It will look awesome with the Wolf predator, which also arrived today and I will be putting him together later tonight or tomorrow.


It feels like christmas morning guys, I love these toys...


I used a black peice of tooth-pick to hold the jaws open without the inner jaw having to be extended.

I finally finished putting the Wolf predator together, it took 3-4 time longer because of the modifications I made to the plasma casters and the claymore bandolier.

I finally finished putting the Wolf predator together, it took 3-4 time longer because of the modifications I made to the plasma casters and the claymore bandolier.

They look great, man!
Damn, I'll have to wait for until June or july to get my Wolf Pred! It's too long!

Just a question, bro: what modifications did you make to the claymore bandolier and how did you do to make appear the plasma casters like that?

WOLF - Plasma Caster & Claymore Bandolier Mods

The plasma casters are tricky, from the factory they only move straight up & down with two pivot joints.
To modify them, you have to make a straight cut in between the two pivot joints (cutting the caster off). once cut off, you can turn them outward and use super glue to re-attach them the way you want (I turned each one 90 degree's). You have to be VERY carefull with the super glue so it does NOT get in the moving pivot joints or you will just break the Mod when you try to move the plasma caster afterward. Take a close look at the Caster's arm because the hoses/springs only attach to one side of them.

The claymore bandolier comes from the factory a little to short for me, sooooo:
I cut the strap down where it attaches near the Blue Vile and repositioned it a bit different so the Blue Vile would sit the way I wanted.
Then I cut the strap in half up near the shoulder area and to extend it I used a small piece of Black Plastic Twist-tie (the kind with wire in it).

Thats it, barely makes sense to me when I read it

Can I jump in here and ask a silly question...
Is this why I see so many kits broken down and sold seperately on Ebay? For customs? I was alwas wondering since I know these are so hard to get sometimes, why someone would piece them out. I would LOVE to own a HT Pred someday. Is buying pieces at a time a good route to go? Are most interchangeable?

Most pieces are interchangable, but the Wolf pred has the wrist blades & armor molded into the body, same thing with the leg armor. This makes customizing with the Wolf difficult.

When ebay sellers break down these kits and sell each piece seperate It's mainly because they can make more money that way (sometimes), it also helps anyone who broke something when putting their HT pred together and for all of us who like to do KitBash custom predators it's a great way to collect parts for them.
