So I had this Horizon Arnold sitting around forever. I'm a complete noob to painting and even constructing models. But the other day I realized that I had to modify his pose more and I was right, he's 150% more awesome with a few modifications. Namely his left arm is missing, right arm straighted and hand opened up to fit a scale M79 eventually. Also took off some of his boots heel so he stands straight now.And then I think I want to move his head direction to a straight on look. My question for you is what is the best way to sculpt in the details? Especially the right arm and neck area. I will try to find a scale sized endo arm to mount to his left arm. I still have to add his belt buckles. I will also add laces to his jackets side adjustments.

I used 2 part plumbers expoxy to put the arm together and did some quick smoothing out for now.

let me know what you think!

Based on the level of damage to the face, at that point in the film his left arm had been severely damaged by the T1000 with only remnants of linkage/pistons/pushrods/whatever hanging from the torn sleeve. You could easily replicate that with brass or styrene rod or tube and a little creativity, eliminating the need to replicate a complete arm (and it would be more accurate).

I'll let someone who knows how to sculpt help you with the rest. ;)

Can't sculpt my way out of a paper bag, but I've been doing figure kits for years now. The best stuff I've found for adding sculpted in detail is Aves Apoxie putty. Likely similar to the Plumber's Putty you used, but is easily sculpted and holds very fine detail. Here's a link: Welcome to Aves Studio

One last thing....since the Horizon Arnold is a vinyl kit, make sure you minimally fill in the legs w/ something. You can use paper, plastic bags, (cram them in tightly!) or 2 part expanding foam to add stability to the piece. If you don't and it gets warm in any way, the vinyl will start to sag. Droopy Ahhhnolds are not good.....

I would love to see a picture if you have any PHArchivist, I love the figure too but I love him now more with a more realistic pose!
