homemade T2 endo arm

this came in the post today. it is 90mm x 500mm x 5mm wall thickness. it is for the forearm cuff

the two tall pistons are 22mm x 100mm and the short piston is 28mm x 80mm and the copper caps are just of the shelf plumbers end caps. when the arm is finished i will nickel plate it so nobody would know it has copper and brass bits...
 
You wouldn't want to drop this thing on your foot, that's for sure.

Can't wait to see how this turns out either way.
 
hey guys,
sorry for the lack of updates. i have been away visiting my family, mainly my dad as you can see (one if his many machine tools lol) for now i have put all my projects on the shelf so i can put all my time into (boring) college work. ill try and do mini updates like this.

Sweet! nice to see your going to get the old girl up and running again. are you going to have variable speed's with the fly wheels?
 
well im going to find an old sewing machine motor and a pulley that looks like this one. if i cant find a similar pulley i will just wire it in with a light dimmer switch.
