Hollywood Collectables BR 2019 Blaster

Be sure to do your research on Hollywood Collectibles right here on the RPF before you purchase anything from them.
hi! why do you say that... are there any problems? thanks... checked some threads but did not find anything much about the blaster..

Could someone please post pics and maybe a video of the 2019. I may be missing them but I can not find anything on the actual 2019 blaster. Just lost of generic, used for every edition pics, 2049 pics, etc..

Thanks in advance.

I've still got three payments left on mine, but I am looking forward to comparing it to the other models.

It’s the original screw head which was replaced by a Weaver knob after filming
So happy this question was asked and answered!!! I received my BR Blaster '2019' from HCG and was so confused by not only the photos in the included spread of the original Ford Blaster but the different images online claiming to be screen used which had the Weaver knob. I found a screen shot from the '82 film which had the flat head screw and was left scratching my head. So as you said this was replaced AFTER filming! I suppose that's why the stunt prop also has the flat head but why the Weaver knob is on the 2049 version. Many thanks!!!

Pics please.

No but thank you. That is an amazing job on that blaster.

I am looking for pics of the actual new Tomenosuke 2019 blaster. All I can find is generic pics used on HCG, etc. No videos or pics of the actual 2019 blaster. I am sure they are out there but I have yet to find them.

I would really love to see a review video but the latest ones are all of the 2049.

Thanks

Dunno what happened to my post, I'm in the pub and posting from my phone - it was a long story as I'm in the U. K.

Ok, here's my story. It's long, so please bear with me...

I bought the 2049 from a seller on eBay.
A month went by, the seller telling me U.S. customs had a few problems clearing it...
I got my money back through PayPal.

Having researched HCG here and also the many issues members in the U.K. have in obtaining this prop, I found a YouTube video of a guy that had bought the 2049 from HCG. He read out the letter HCG include in the shipment, informing customs that it's U.K. legal.
So I ordered the 2019 following confirmation from them that this letter would be included inside and outside of the parcel.

I tracked the shipment via UPS and two days after arriving here in the U.K, I received a phone call from UPS, asking me to provide detail of the replica.
They weren't happy - I jumped through hoops, downloading forms, printing them, filling them out, sending pictures of the forms back to them.
They wanted me to be a member of a paintball and / or an airsoft group, to obtain a membership number that I could fill out on one of the forms thus confirming I was capable of owning this replica.
Strange!
I argued that there were two sites in the U.K. that used to sell the 2049 version, and that this 2019 version was practically identical - so if it's legal to sell over here (no mention was made on these two sites that I had to be a member of a group and had to submit my membership number before purchase) then it's legal to import.
I informed HCG about the issues I was encountering, and Colin stepped in, contacting UPS in the U.K.
I couldn't see this going my way, UPS telling me that the parcel would be returned to sender if I didn't confirm to the various rules laid down in the documentation they wanted me to fill out.
Backwards and forward via emails, the parcel sitting in storage for a week, I told them to send it back to HCG, informing them to expect it and would they please upon receiving it, refund me.
I was resigned to not owning this replica.
However, Colin at HCG told me to hold on, as he was still arguing my case.
I received an email from UPS, asking me if they could clear it through customs, did I still want it.
Obviously I said yes, and a few hours later I was emailed telling me it had been cleared.

It arrived today, and I'm over the moon with it.
I cannot thank Colin at HCG enough for all the hard work and determination he exhibited to get this to me!
Thanks Colin!

I was also terrified I would have the same problems with customs as you described when I ordered from Canada. I've ordered all four Tomenosuke editions HCG has sold plus an Aliens Pulse rifle and never had a single problem with customs aside from having to pay a pretty hefty ($190 Canadian) duty fee on each one, except on my latest purchase of the 2019 edition of the Tomenosuke in which I was amazingly not charged a duty fee at all. I can only assume some workplace bureaucracy distracted someone long enough to send it through without billing me.

There is a huge amount of nonsense attached to the VCR act..the BRB is not a realistic replica firearm as it is a FANTASY gun ,therefore not realistic by definition..All authority is assumed, all uniforms are fancy dress ! ! If Corbyn gets in you won't be able to own a picture of a gun, let alone a prop..remember that come election day ! !
