Historically accurate history - 1900's electro devices

I'm not sure if this is the right place or forum to post this, but here we go.

I thought I'd make available to anyone who's interested, pics and measurements of late 1800's and early 1900's electro-medical devices. This was a time in American history when electricity was still relatively new. Edison was beaten by Tesla in the "War of the Currents" and Tesla's alternating current beat Edison's direct current and ultimately became the world standard.

Machines were made using batteries (direct current) to deliver current to people in various ways. These machines were nothing more than snake oil and claims were made that could cure all that ailed you. Numerous devices were make for "medical" use, and more numerous claims were made as to what they could cure.

I came into a collection a few months ago of 20 or so such devices. I've posted a few pics of one of the devices. Most of them can be taken apart safely and looked into for research purposes. Some of them have been altered by a former owner to be able to use modern power supplies. Almost all of these can be found on ebay, however none of mine are for sale (really, please don't ask). I'm only offering pics and measurements if there's interest. I thought the Steampunk community might find some of this stuff interresting, as well as collectors, or anyone who might want to reproduce their own.
