Help With MR Jack Sparrow POTC Compass

I just recieved the MRJack Sparrow compass and like it but have a question isnt the dial supposed to move at random? Mine does not move at all unless I physically turn it and feels like it is locked up or somthing. Is there anyway of fixing this short of sending it back? Also recieved the sword same thing witht the wet paint and the styrafoam sticking on the hndel. I am really scared to purchase anything from them again now two items and two problems is not good at all. Email me at mwells78@cox.net if you can help.

mine did the same thing but i had to really shack/push the thing to get it to move, so i sent it back for another. the second one still didn't move very easy but would do quarter turns when i tipped it side to side. i would get another.

I think all the compasses are pretty stiff to start with, I've had 2 of them. It rotates on a bearing that loosens up after a bit of playing with it. The best bet is to just keep spinning it around both ways with your finger and it'll move around a lot more after a bit. But you do of course still have to move the compass in the direction you want to make it point.

There is suppose to be some push point on it to make the compass spin on its own in a random direction. At least that is what was noted in the description of the replica.

I hate to say it, but the POTC items are turning into another embarassment for MR. Between the compass not functioning as advertised and the sword handles being messed up, the quality control is still screwed up there. MR seriously needs to get back to producing quality pieces. This is really boding poorly for them when they keep saying they will get back to top quality pieces and keep turning out bad products. Took six bad sales in a row and a call from them saying no problem, we will just cancel your orders without adressing anything about it. That finally stopped me from ordering from them on a regular basis. I just wonder how long others will have patience with them.

Yeah that makes me really leary of ordering anything from them. Let alone a a $3000 falcon that I would love to have but at that price point for the sig edition I could get a screen used prop and it woul probally look better and work better as well. They are seriously messing up if this continues they will go under unfortunatlly I have alwasy supported them 100% but this is getting rediculous if you ask me. And there customer service is so rude it is embarassing.
