Help with Jared Leto joker costume?

Hi guys

I'm thinking of going to a costume party as Jared Leto's Joker (from the iPhone footage caught on set).
I'm all good on the hair, but I'm stuck on two clothing items.

The first is the shirt. In the first picture, it looks like a silky material, but in the second it looks more like a polyester, any ideas?
And as far as color, the pictures look maroon-ish, but as it's the Joker, I imagine it's really some shade of purple?

The second thing is the 'suspenders'. I've done some research to find out that he's wearing a gun holster suspender, some times known as "perry holster".
I've only found black ones (the one he's wearing is purple), and it was super expensive. I doubt they'd costume make a complicated piece like that, and I THINK it's leather, so I doubt it's painted.

Is there ANY other 'underarm' suspenders? (AKA not a gun holster) I love the look of the straps going under the arms and attach to the pants at the back.

I'm really bad with clothing so if anyone has ideas on any of this, it'd be SO appreciated

that perry holster would definitely be custom made (or at least a custom order at a holster manufacturer). as for the shirt, i'd definitely go with a burgundy silkier fabric, considering how purple the suspenders look against them and the sheen of the fabric.

I agree if it is in fact a perry holster then its custom because most of the one's ive seen are a mix between leather and elastic. I bought a shoulder holster kit from Tandy and I used purple leather paint for my Joker rig

I just finished a promo version of the joker for The Geek Gathering I was able to photoshop the tattoos off of the promo picture, flatten them out and print them on temporary tattoo paper. I also found a great tutorial about using a glue stick to create the "no eyebrows" look.
