HI
I am making latex costume and need advice how to glue pieces together.
Right now I am using special super glue with small overlapping pieces inside to hold better but not sure how strong will be this connection .
I have many glues but most of them need minimum 15 minutes of setting time to dry.

When I put a ALIEN costume together I used regular CA glue.
I think it was the little generic yellow bottles with red caps from the dollar store.

Something stronger would be LOCTITE.

I just tested special super glue with longer setting time and it is very strong connection.

Contact adhesive is the proper glue. Look up making fetish clothing. Surface prep is key, as well as proper pressure on seams.
The issue with most CA glues, is they do not stretch, and to look nice, you don't want your glued areas to be rigid. (even with flexible CA)
