help needed for toy identifications

I am going slowly insane trying to actually get this toy figured out.

I don't have a picture (can't search for what I don't know).

It's a ball, with a bunch of small flat cone shaped objects that sort of jut out at random points on said ball. I think it's a toy for a pre schooler. Bright colors and I think it vibrates and bounces around.

I want to say it's about volley ball sized, but I can't honestly say for sure.

Any ideas whatsoever? I remember seeing it on a commercial a few years back, but I can't recall what it was for or even what company made it. The only reason I am thinking pre school is that it's a fairly big ball, bouncy, and I can't imagine a kid older then 8 playing with it.

Thanks for any help on this one.

edit - yes, it's for a prop.

this?

EDIT: It was a picture of a bumble ball... but, uh... I guess thats not what everyone else saw :/

Yes, I think I got it at the Discovery store and one of my dogs destroyed it before the baby had played with it more than about 4 minutes.

Bright colors, the vibration makes it wander around on it's own at random. Cost about $6-$8.
They may have even marketed these for pets as well...

It's a "Bumble Ball".

Hecubus114, I think someone doesn't like you linking to their pic. Better take that down :eek

I still dont know what everybody saw - but I apologize! I swear I just meant to put up a pic of a bumble ball! :redface

I have no doubt that you did. I even checked the properties of the image, and it was labeled as bumble ball. It's obvious that the site hosting that image caught the "extra" band with and replaced the bumble ball pic with one that was most definitely not a bumble ball. It's fairly common practice to discourage band width theft.

For what it's worth: If I find a pic I want to link to, I save it and up load it to a Photobucket account. Then I link to that image.

I didn't get to see the picture either, but at least I know what the toy is now :)

Many many thanks. It has been bugging me for a week or two now.
