Help me find this hooded sweatshirt from Transformers?

Does anyone know where this hooded sweatshirt originated worn by Sam Witwicky?

It was made by G-star and supposedly was made strictly for the production of Transformers by G-star so not very likely you're going to find one on the open market.

Interesting... Ok well that's a better start than where I was before....

I wonder if there's a possible source one that could be slightly modded to be like the Transformers-made one.

Sucks that they have clothing lines make exclusive movie production versions.

I don't get it... It would be so much cheaper just to choose existing street clothes for that.

No wonder Hollywood budgets are so high. Kinda stupid on the expenses for some of that wardrobe stuff.

I'd imagine it was a case of G-star going to them and offering to do it for product placement more than anything else. I sincerely doubt it cost the production a dime to get it made and in the movie.

A quick search of their website and e-bay didn't turn up anything close other than full zip hoodies, but none in that color or with that particular logo design.

I also did an ebay search and google. saw someone at a starshiptroopers.net owns it with some good photos. There's gotta be something out there close like without the front logo that could be modded... Not having the greatest luck, but I've only just started.

I have the above hoodie but not in the brown colour that Sam wears. It is exactly the same but in dark blue with orange piping.
Would this be of interest to anyone?
