Still looking for help on the smokey and the Bandit Buford T Justice glasses. Anyone out there know what type,Brand,Have some for sale or etc??
I am having a heck of a time finding any info from any site out there.
Neostyle Mod. and Ray Ban is what I am told so far.

one is a vintage elvis Rayban aviator looks good but try fendi another place that made aviators back then the arms on the Fendi look closer but its somewhere else to try

Many thanks my friend! I called universal and got the archives. They did a search but the movie came out 30 years before they had an archives dept. hahahah

have you tried scouring or asking around a vintage fashion forum? Clearly, they're an old style (considering the movie came out in 77, they have to be 77 or earlier) and while they're in a movie, they weren't originally prop. Instead of talking to prop/costume people you should find a community where they know a lot about vintage fashion. Just a suggestion.

The sunglasses in question are German-made. They are Menrad 787 Sunglasses not Ray-Ban, the photo below will confirm this
