Hello everyone, do any of you good people have in your possession a good set of drawings of the Nebuchadnezzar ship from the Matrix films,
I have been asked by the film and sci fi museum to build a large version to go on display there. I have not been able to find anything on line.

Can anyone help ?.

everyone keep safe and well

Tried to find any type of blueprints, but the only thing I could find were the interior full sized set piece blueprints.
I was able to find a few 3D models, 3D prints, and possibly what looks like an official model, but I've never seen it for sale anywhere, so maybe never released, or a very small limited run.
So heres a few pictures that might be able to help, at least good a good idea of the over all design of the ship.
You might have to just find a ton of these type pictures and build it from those.

I can't speak for the accuracy of it, but you might be best off to buy something like this Nebuchadnezzar Hovercraft 3D Printing Model | Assembly + Active from Gambody.

It can be used to generate orthographic images that you could work with, as well as used for general reference. That model could be brought into readily-available software that would allow you to manipulate and rotate it to see what's going on with the geometry. Anyways, with limited resources, it's a starting point. I had the same luck as JediMichael looking for any available exterior blueprints, nothing but interiors popped up.

That's about all that I could find. There had been an interactive 'build your own hovership' web-based thing with the original movie website, and someone grabbed some illustrations - canon to the 1st film.

thank you very much everyopne for responding for to the cry for help its good to know all us model people stick together, thanks also for the advice and images, a good start to what maybe a long project. The curator of the museum wants an 8 foot model so it is gong to have a strong interior mounting frame.

I will post some images once I have got the build underway, thanks every one.

Of course, and if you can't get it perfect, for lack of pictures, but at least close enough, what are they really going to do about it anyways.
I guess at the most, the museum themselves could try and contact Warner Brothers for any type of blueprints or better details, unless they are trying to stay under the radar about it anyways. Whatever happens, good luck. And seeing all your other builds, I think you'll knock it totally out of the park either way.

Back in 2008, there was a limited edition dvd/bluray case:
Thats what I saw, but didn't realize it was a whole entire case like that. I don't think I've ever known anyone that ever got that limited edition case.
Pretty interesting that they did it like that.

I have a large unbuilt model kit of this craft- love this subject but it has been in my closet of doom for years. Not sure of the scale but it is resin- fiberglass and set up for lighting.
How big is your display model going to be?

Thank you for the comments every one, YES the guys at the museum have some contacts in the film world and will be trying to get some more information for me, Richard if you have the unbuilt craft is there any chance you could do a photo walk round on it and post the images, even just the basic top bottom front and back views, this would be a great help.

every one keep safe and well
regards Barrie ( the old guy with great back up )

Your timing is great- I was planning on getting this kit out of storage, I will be selling it since I doubt I will have time to build it properly.
Let me know if there are some specific areas you would like further photos of

What can I say Richard, a very very BIG thank you for these great clear images and with the ruler along side they will get me well on the way to building the giant version. Any other close ups from all angles would be good but only if you have time, I must thank you for your time in helping this old guy, it is such a good feeling that there is a lot of good guys out there who will take the time to help with our hobby. If I can help you at all with anything please do not hesitate to ask. I have thousands of reference images on all sorts from formula one cars to real space craft, this particular ship having eluded me.
thank you thank you
my very best regards Barrie ( the old guy with back up ) yes I will b 70 in August.

66 years myself and I know how frustrating it is to be commissioned a project and have little for reference. Many years ago, pre-internet, I needed to build a Super Star Destroyer for a client. Almost zero references, people could not even even agree how many engines it had. I had to reverse engineer the hull from a paused videotape. I told him I may not be able to duplicate the model filmed, but I could duplicate what he saw on screen.
I still have the Neb out of the box, do you a section by section down the upper and lower hulls?

That would be brilliant Richard, anything at all will be a great help, like your own super destroyer this model will have what we call artistic license.
With your help and assistance it will pretty close to what it should look like.

thanks once again
